This remodel project involved transforming a small, west facing back patio into a comfortable outdoor living & entertaining space. A custom arching shade structure, built in kitchen, and sunken fireplace, create interest as well as define outdoor rooms.

The design made the most of this space by giving screening from nearby neighbors, shade from the afternoon sun, and softness with plantings and annual containers.
